We already know the Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 will include three games from Konami’s classic stealth series – but there’s more.
As spotted on the game’s official PS Store page, the compilation will also include the MSX2 originals: Metal Gear and, of course, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.
While these additions will be gratefully received, their inclusion probably shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, as both titles previously featured in Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence on the PS2, and its subsequent HD Collection port on the PS3 and PS Vita.
With that in mind, we’d be disappointed if they weren’t present. Originally released in 1987, the first Metal Gear – directed by series creator Hideo Kojima, of course – adopted an isometric viewpoint, and was later ported to the Nintendo Entertainment System, which is the version we suspect the majority of you will be familiar with.
