@Kraven I listened to a podcast this week, describing its gameplay and it sounded way more interesting than what I assumed it was. With your recommendation on top of that, it's really moving up on my wishlist.
That being said, I'm still only halfway Rebirth. It's a fantastic game, there's so much to explore and I want to see it all. Downside of an epic game like this is you don't get to play many other games.
I just hit the 80 hour mark in Rebirth, which is the exact amount of time I spend on the whole of Remake, playing all of its side content. I'm only halfway the game stil, and I didn't even do all of the side content so far. And with every step more minigames, challenges and locations are unfolding to me.
It's all a bit much ('bit much' is an apt description of this game), and I love every friggin' second of it. What a trip this is!
@Kraven I haven’t rolled credits on it yet but have sunk some 40 hours into it and have found it to be very enjoyable. Not my typical type of game but the beautiful art drew me in. As a big fan of Final Fantasy XII’s gambit system, I was thrilled to find the combat has a similar thing going on. The soundtrack also has this majestic quality to it that works so well and I get a kick out of how darn polite everyone is
