February has crept up on us, huh? This is looking like an unusually stacked month in the video game industry, with several high profile releases plotted. Better clear those backlogs quick, then, eh?
This weekend I'm planning to wrap up the original DOOM, in my journey to complete every one of the games on the run up to DOOM: The Dark Ages. I'm having more fun with the OG than I thought I would as someone not typically interested in older retro gaming experiences.
In the run up to Monster Hunter Wilds, I've been revisiting Monster Hunter World. Re-adjusting to the rhythm of bonking angry pickles and flying cotton ball bats with my big hammer. Perhaps I'll learn to be good with any sort of projectile weapon? Perhaps not. Add in some Tekken 8 online in between hunts!
I'm catching up on all my gacha games, and this weekend I'll be focusing on finishing the Fall Guys-style event in Zenless Zone Zero. There's too much talking as always, but the gameplay with the Bangboos is surprisingly fun.
I'll once again be checking out a couple of indie games for review purposes, but I'll hopefully be able to make time for more Hitman. I've yet to start the third story campaign, and I'm really looking forward to diving back in.
