Forza Horizon 5 is coming to the PS5. The open world arcade racer is among the highest rated Xbox console exclusives and is one of Microsoft’s “big three” franchises, alongside Halo and Gears of War. (Both of which are rumoured to release on PlayStation in the future.)

The game is being ported by well-regarded studio Panic Button, with oversight from series creators Turn 10 and original developer Playground Games. Additionally, it’ll feature cross-play with all existing versions of the title, and all DLC packs will be available day one.
This is undoubtedly going to be a colossal release on PS5, as while Gran Turismo 7 has comfortably dominated the console sim racing space, there’s been a real dearth of high-quality arcade racers on PlayStation for quite some time. DriveClub was arguably the last true classic, and that’s over a decade old at this stage.
When you consider the popularity of both PlayStation and racing games in Europe, we expect this to sell many millions of copies. The question is: will you be among those purchasing the title day one – or later down the line?
We still need information on a few minor details, like whether there’ll be a physical release, if it’ll support the DualSense controller, and how much it’ll cost day one. But you can wishlist the release on the PS Store right now.

I will maybe look towards FH6 on Day 1. Getting this game with almost 900 cars? Thats too overwhelming for new player. And living in Menu more than racing aswell seems trend
