A Lot of Unannounced First Party PlayStation Games Are “Pretty Much Ready” to be Shown – Rumour
Though Sony’s recent PlayStation Showcase wasn’t completely devoid of major new announcements and updates – with the likes of Alan Wake 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Assassin’s Creed Mirage, and more showing up and impressing – the general consensus in its aftermath has been that it didn’t live up to expectations.
In particular, the lack of big first party announcements, especially on the single player front, has been widely criticized.
That absence has been starkly felt, but what’s even more bizarre is that, as claimed recently in an article published by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, several first party PlayStation titles that many expected to be unveiled at the showcase were indeed ready to be announced, but for some reason ended up skipping the event.
In a separately uploaded video, Henderson also stated that he had seen “a few” trailers that he was expecting to be present at the PlayStation Showcase that were not shown off by Sony in the end.
