Shortly after its recent gameplay debut, Mortal Kombat 1 now has a new gameplay showcase showing off the gory fighting game in all of its glory, all in 4K. Check out the gameplay below.
The gameplay showcase shows off quite a few things that were revealed during Summer Game Fest earlier this week, giving us a look at some of the roster, and a great look at the ebb and flow of its gameplay.
Developer NetherRealm Studios gave us a good look at Mortal Kombat 1 earlier this week with a lengthy trailer that showed off the upcoming fighting game’s story mode, as well as giving us a glimpse at some of its roster.
The most interesting new mechanic in Mortal Kombat 1 is the Kameo system. Alongside picking your fighter at the beginning of a match, you also pick another fighter that will act as a supporting fighter. These supporting fights can then be summoned in the middle of a fight for quick assists, depending on what direction you press alongside the summon button.
Mortal Kombat 1 is coming to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on November 19. It is also slated to get a beta in August, which will be available for those who pre-order the game.
