If you've been keeping an eye on Reddit over the course of the past few weeks, you'll know that several communities are locked in a heated battle with the higher ups due to recent API changes that have forced third-party apps to pay for access. A recent blackout caused Reddit to completely crash, but despite best efforts and several popular subreddits going dark, things seem to be carrying on as usual now the initial fury has seemingly passed.
However, there are those still fighting the good fight, including the Cyberpunk 2077 and Witcher communities. In an attempt to protest the API changes, both subreddits have been marked as NSFW by their moderators, something that many other subreddits have been doing to block ads from appearing. Reddit is obviously none too happy about two rather large subreddits stopping pretty much all ads from being displayed there, and has warned the moderators of both of them to switch back.

Unfortunately, threats have only made the situation worse, as to keep up the charade of both subreddits being legitimately NSFW, they've been spamming nude pictures and other spicy content related to their respective games (thanks Kotaku). If you visit either subreddit right now, you'll be greeted with an avalanche of blurred out pictures, some of them innocent, but most of them featuring a whole range of naughtiness.
