Call of Duty's crossover event with The Boys is in full swing. By the time you read this, Starlight and Homelander's bundles will be available with Black Noir's dropping on Thursday. It's not the cosmetics members of The Seven have brought to the game CoD's players have taken issue with though, it's their powers.
While you'll need to buy the bundles if you want to look like your favorite heroes from The Boys in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, their powers can be found via Temp-V field upgrades. One of those upgrades, which again, anyone can find and use, will give you Homelander's laser vision, and some of those who have felt its wrath really aren't happy about it.

The best example of just how overpowered CoD's laser eyes are is showcased in the clip below. With the field upgrade prepped, the player happens upon an unsuspecting rival who likely had the upper hand had it not been for what was to come. The laser-eye-equipped player proceeds to hover a few feet off the floor and obliterates their rival with a short sharp blast of light from their face.
Left behind is a smear of blood and a few severed limbs. Brutal stuff, much like what you'd see in an episode of The Boys, and yeah, people don't like it. It's not just the laser vision players are complaining about either. Other Boys-inspired field upgrades like Charge Jump and Teleport haven't gone other well either. The former allows you to leap across the map, almost as if you were flying, while the latter lets you dash forward at lightning speed, a bit like A-Train although I haven't confirmed if you can use the upgrade to run right through an opponent.
