Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War Celebrates 6th Anniversary with New Mini Game, Events and More

Going strong since its release, Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War celebrates its 6th anniversary with their players. The free-to-play naval strategy game has added new features and limited-time events with the new update. The publisher, Joycity, developed this game in collaboration with Disney. Under their belt, they have a couple of other successful titles, such as Gunship Battle: Total Warfare and the FreeStyle street sports games.

Inspired by Disney’s franchise, Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War immerse the players directly into the action. Become a pirate, train your troops and battle sea monsters and other pirates like yourself. Meet the legendary pirates Jack Sparrow, Elizabeth Swann and Captain Barbossa as you embark on your adventures.

Among the new features, players will meet the Tactician Gunnar Nielson, a Dark Talisman with a Viking-inspired aesthetic and the ominous ship The Hunter. The new minigame Block Blast will reward the players that participate. As a plus, the anticipated Battle pass will gift all those who take part with the Coral Reef Palace skin. Players will also receive the limited “Stardust” Portrait Frame and Fortress Effect.

There’s also an attendance event on the Pirates of the Caribbean: Tides of War official Facebook page. This Sweepstakes event gives players the chance to win 10,000 gems and other rewards.
