We've been hands on with the 165Hz Pixio PXC277 Advanced and it does almost everything pretty well. OK, HDR support extremely limited. But at this price, it's a surprisingly sweet all-round gaming monitor.
The sweet spot for a modern gaming monitor is still 1440p. It delivers the perfect mix of high resolution, high refresh rate, and performance that won't stall on a mid-range graphics card. Normally we'd be skeptical about such a cheap screen, and just how well it would actually perform once you plugged it in and started gaming on it.
