The latest Destiny 2 hotfix is live after a lengthy period of server issues that affected players around the world, with version 7.0.0.3 bringing a fix for the broken Hunter Silkstrike super, among other things. While the fix hasn't cleared up every issue that Destiny 2 players have been encountering over the past week, it does bring some crucial bug fixes aiming to smoothen out the experience for players attempting the day one raid on March 10.
Players across all platforms have reported a long list of technical issues throughout the past week since the launch of Destiny 2: Lightfall, ranging from bugged armor mods to frequent game crashes on certain platforms. Only a portion of these problems has been sorted out by the developers so far, including the infamous Hunter Strand super that has been dealing twice as much damage to enemies than intended. Previously, the Silkstrike Hunter super allowed critical damage if foes were hit with the tip of the dart during attacks, though a bug causing the ability to dish out double the damage led to some Guardians using it to single-handedly dispose of certain bosses extremely quickly.

Bungie has a track record of eliminating such exploits almost immediately, so it's no surprise that the super ability was brought back in line along with the first hotfix since Destiny 2's latest expansion launched. Hotfix 7.0.0.3 has a noticeably small roster of patch notes, but the present changes come as a direct response to a few of the most pressing issues that fans have been pointing out since Lightfall.
