Microsoft has released 12 new ID@Xbox demos as part of its Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2023 Online Event. The 12 demos are live on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S today and will be available until March 27, 2023. This means you only have a week to try them out.
Although GDC is held at the Moscone Center in San Francisco each year, players do not need to attend the show in order to access the demos. Though attendees will also have a chance to check out the demos in-person at the ID@Xbox Sponsored Kiosk during the convention.

Below is the full list of game demos available as part of the GDC Online Event:
Standouts include BattleCakes, a cute turn-based RPG in which you play as cupcakes; Boxville, a puzzle platformer set in a world of doodles; Sker Ritual, a co-op survival FPS set in the same universe as Maid of Sker; and Soulvars, a turn-based deckbuilding RPG with a beautiful pixel art aesthetic.
Since all of these games are still in development, Microsoft notes that these demos may not represent the full products at the time of release. Players are encouraged to give feedback to developers to ensure each game is a high-quality product.
