Vash the Stampede, the hero of Trigun Stampede, had a makeover from his original design for the latest Trigun series. His iconic red jacket's design was upgraded from its appearance in the 1998 anime. Now, Japanese pop culture fashion brand SuperGroupies are releasing a new collaboration project with Trigun Stampede that includes a real version of Vash's new jacket so that you can wear it, too.
Trigun Stampede is the latest part of the Trigun franchise. The original anime aired back in 1998, and there was nothing else until a movie in 2010. Now, Trigun Stampede began airing in January 2023, much to the excitement of diehard Trigun fans who couldn't wait to see what the series was going to do next. So far, the anime has been really well-received, with high ratings across multiple anime websites.

SuperGroupies is a Japanese fashion brand famous for their anime and game inspired clothing items, which combine otaku culture with Japanese street fashion designs. Most of their items are just inspired by anime rather than a direct replica, but this new Vash the Stampede jacket is true to the design in the anime. It has the «Project SEEDS» logo on the chest and sleeve, a high neck collar, and a transistor radio printed on the inside pocket — and of course, its bright red! The jacket will sell for $250 USD, so its not cheap, but sometimes you have to pay to look cool.
There are a few other items inspired by Trigun Stampede also included in the upcoming release. One is a $200 USD backpack that looks like Nicholas D. Wolfwood's weapon, the Punisher.
