Developer Sloclap has announced that its Kung Fu brawler Sifu is getting an Arenas expansion, which will launch alongside the Steam and Xbox versions next week.
Sifu originally launched in February 2022 for PC via the Epic Games Store, PS4, and PS5, but will finally be making its way to Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on March 28. The Arenas expansion will be launching the same day for free and will feature five new game modes.
A brand-new trailer was shared during the Future Game Spring Showcase 2023, which showed off the first look at Arenas and all it includes. As well as five game modes and «the twists they bring to Sifu's original formula,» players will also be able to enjoy nine arenas and 45 extra challenges.
Players will be able to challenge enemies in Survival mode where they will be pushed to their limits, and Performance mode demands perfection. Time Attack mode, meanwhile, tasks them with battling against the clock on a path filled with enemies. The new Capture mode is where the player must take and hold a marked area and defend it against oncoming enemies and finally, Manhunt mode tasks the player with taking down a specific target surrounded by protectors.
The expansion is estimated to bring around 10 hours of extra content when it launches next week. Sifu can now be added to your wishlist on Steam.
