We're just over a month away from the release of Honkai: Star Rail, the upcoming turn-based free-to-play RPG from Genshin Impact developer HoYoverse. We know Honkai: Star Rail will arrive on mobile and PC on April 26, but now we also know that it'll have a release on PlayStation too.
Writing on the PlayStation Blog, HoYoverse lead programmer Yang Yu confirmed Honkai: Star Rail's impending PlayStation release. "Honkai: Star Rail will launch on PlayStation in the near future," wrote Yu. "We would like to express our sincere thanks to everyone who is supporting Honkai: Star Rail."

Honkai: Star Rail is actually the fourth entry into the Honkai series and the sequel to Honkai Impact 3rd. However, it takes place in an alternate universe to Impact, so while some of the characters may seem familiar, they're actually different. This'll make Star Rail appeal to series veterans but be welcoming to newcomers as there's no real need to have played any of the previous games.
