Honkai: Star Rail Launching In April

HoYoverse has announced that their upcoming title, Honkai: Star Rail, is launching on April 26, 2023. According to an official press release, Honkai: Star Rail will be available on PC, Epic Games Store, iOS and Android. It was also confirmed that a PlayStation version is also in development. However, there was no word on its release date. 

HoYoverse is the developer of the widely successful Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd. HoYoverse aims to bring that same quality. Players that enjoyed Genshin Impact are bound to enjoy themselves here. Each has similarities but will also be unique when regarding story and gameplay.

Honkai: Star Rail is a free-to-play Genshin Impact spin-off that will implement a turn-based combat system. This separates itself from Genshin Impact‘s real-time combat. However, like Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail is a gatcha game. Unlocking desired characters will require lots of time or money to speed up the process. 

The story has players travel from the Herta Space Station to different worlds in this fantasy sci-fi RPG. Players will discover myths and mysteries as they try to uncover the truth about the Cancer of All Worlds. HoYoverse promises big worlds and landscapes to explore with unique cultures and a fascinating story that will leave players wanting more. 

Players pre-register today and get ready to explore the universe on April 26, 2023. Pre-downloads will also be available from the Epic Games Store and PC on the official website on April 23. If the game gets five million pre-registrations, the players will receive 20-star passes, 100,000 credits and the four-star character Serval. Check out our HardcoreDroid review when the game launches!
