Alienware has teased its upcoming QD-OLED gaming monitors with up to 4K resolution and 360Hz refresh rates which arrive in early 2024.
During the TwitchCon 2023 event, Alienware teased its upcoming QD-OLED gaming monitors which include the AQ3225QF and the AQ2725DF. Both of these monitors are designed with quantum-dot OLED technologies in mind and are the world's first 4K QD-OLED and the world's first 360Hz QD-OLED designs, respectively.
Starting with some of the specifications, we first have the Alienware AW3225QF which is a 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor. This monitor has a 4K resolution of 3840x2160p. The monitor is outfitted with a 240Hz refresh rate and comes in a curved screen design. This monitor also features a three-year burn-in warranty. The monitor features the same dual-tone aesthetics of white and black that Alienware is known for and a large stand that is adjustable. The monitor comes with AMD Freesync Premium technology for buttery smooth and tearless gameplay.
The second monitor is the Alienware AW2725DF which is being called the "World's first 360Hz QD-OLED" design. This high-end gaming monitor comes with a flat-panel design and offers a resolution of QHD (2560x1440p). The monitor is rated with a high refresh rate of 360Hz which makes it a great design for eSports gamers. Once again, users will be getting a three-year burn-in warranty.
Alienware hasn't disclosed the full specifications or prices yet but we will know them by CES 2024 which is also the time when the company plans on fully launching both products in retail. These are especially great monitors for gamers who are looking to try out the QD-OLED goodness. A few more tidbits can be heard during the TwitchCon 2023 showcase by Alienware in the link below
