Ever since Sora was announced for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Kingdom Hearts fans have been eagerly awaiting a Sora amiibo figure. Just when fans had nearly lost all hope, the figure was announced during a Nintendo Direct back in September.
While the new Tears of the Kingdom and Xenoblade Chronicles amiibo figures received specific release dates, Sora was a vague “2024”.

However, the amiibo was recently listed on Amazon Japan, which suggests it may be coming sooner rather than later.
Part of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate collection, the Sora amiibo is coming in 2024.
It is possible to order from Amazon JP using your Amazon US account, but the product will be imported from Japan with potentially more expensive shipping fees.
The figure is currently out of stock on Amazon Japan, but some lucky few were able to order it before stock ran out, and received an estimated delivery window of January 5 - January 14.
Given the fact that the Nintendo Direct said Sora was coming in 2024, it’s possible we could have the Sora amiibo figure in just over two months.
The amiibo isn’t currently listed on Amazon US, but it has been on Amazon Italy for a few weeks now, too, so it seems the US release is imminent.
It seems the Kingdom Hearts news drought is just about letting up, as we also received news on the mobile game Missing Link last week, with an open beta being held for Australia and the UK.
Hopefully, the news continues, and the Sora amiibo will become readily available soon. And, if we’re even luckier, news on Kingdom Hearts 4. Though that’s probably wishful thinking.
