Despite being a diehard Samsung fan, I have to be honest. I am vouching for the OnePlus 12 because, based on all the information that we have received, the phone looks to be excellent in all terms, and it appears that OnePlus is not willing to compromise on the overall quality of the device. Today, the company has revealed two key details about the upcoming flagship.
The first thing that the OnePlus 12 is going to get is an official IP65 dust and water resistance-this isn't as good as the IP68 that most flagship phones get, but it still makes the phone water-spray proof. This certainly is a step above the IP64 rating found on the predecessor, and hopefully, by the time we get more flagships from the company, this rating will only improve.
The second thing that the company has revealed about the OnePlus 12 is the fact that the phone is going to feature USB 3.2 Gen 1. This is the same port that we have found on other flagship phones, allowing for fast data transfers up to 10Gbps with the right cable.
Based on all the information we have received, the OnePlus 12 is honestly one of the most promising devices that I have managed to look at in some time. It appears that the company is going to deliver a lot of top-end specs, and my only concern here is the fact that these specs might cause a significant increase in price, as well. Recently, the company announced how the phone is going to use the brightest display at 4,500 nits peak brightness, an ultra-thin fingerprint scanner, as well as an industry-first cooling system. The phone is also going to pack Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and all the other goodness that comes with it.
The OnePlus 12 is going official in China on 5th December later this month. Followed by an international release
