Mortal Kombat 1 Trailer Reveals Quan Chi Gameplay, Release Date
Quan Chi's gameplay trailer is finally here, giving us a taste of how the longtime fighter's moves have been worked into Mortal Kombat 1. He fights alongside a new Kameo fighter, Khameleon, who is returning to the series for the first time since 2006.
Quan Chi will join the Mortal Kombat 1 roster on December 14, with Khamleon not joining the fighting until this January. You can see the pair in the trailer below, showcasing their new moves.
In Quan Chi's case, we also get to see some of his pre-fight banters with other fighters. Of course, NetherReal couldn't help itself and had to chuck in a Deadly Alliance joke when he fights Shang Tsung. At the very end, we even get a sneak peek at Peacemaker through one of these exchanges, as he says he's doing to beat Quan Chi senseless.
In terms of his fighting style, the sorcerer has a lot of magic at his disposal. It seems to be great at keeping his foes at a distance, as when someone gets to close, he tags Khameleon in to deal with them.
As for Khameleon, she seems to use abilities inspired by the other ninja women in the series.
