November’s latest progress report for Eternal Tombs revealed a significant advancement in the game's development from the indie dev team at Triune Studios. The team behind this eagerly anticipated MMORPG is diligently working towards their plan of getting players into the game in the next few months.
According to Josh Caba, the Creative Director, the team is focusing on preparing nine starting or lower-level zones for the game's first public demo. This crucial step is aimed at giving players who enter the world of Mithir a diverse and engaging environment to begin their journey in.
A sneak peek into the game's combat dynamics was also showcased in a «low level pig hunt» video, set in the starting zone of Southmir. The preview is just a glimpse of what the amateur adventurer experience might look like when you first embark on your journey in Mithir but depicts some world traversal and dispatching of a few swine throughout the teaser. Notably, this video only depicts low level gameplay, a far cry from what the team has shown in previous videos, but you’ve got to start somewhere!
November’s development highlights included several focus areas, which include quests, professions, scholastics, combat, gear, crafting, harvesting components, and polishing zones. The team has teased another playtest on the horizon, although specific dates have yet to be announced. The team has concluded several tests at this point, the last having concluded in October where Triunetested a Raid that the team stated went rather well.
