is a world packed full of danger and drama, so it’s good to have a little comic relief here and there. While some characters add to the tension and story with serious cutscenes and complex questlines, others provide some much-needed fun throughout the game. They don’t all have huge roles to play in the epic plot, but every time one of these characters is on the screen, it is a joy.
As the party travels around the Sword Coast in search of a way to rid themselves of those pesky tadpoles, they are bound to encounter other characters, some of whom are wonderfully funny. has plenty of hilarious moments that prove that it was written with a sense of humor. From party companions to strange cats, there are tons of these funny characters to track down and enjoy.

While she might not seem like it at first glance,'s githyanki warrior Lae’zel is very funny. She will often pass comment on her fellow companions or situations the party find themselves in. Sometimes, what makes Lae’zel so funny is her misunderstanding of situations or customs, but often, she is well aware of how humorous her comments are. Lae’zel has a very dry sense of humor, performing her quips with deadpan delivery perfectly voiced by Devora Wilde. This is no better exemplified by her option of owls:

Naaber is 's homage to the adoring fan from, as well as a call back to the previous games. Naaber is a very annoying NPC that can be met in Act 3, who will try his best to get the party's attention.
