BlizzCon is always a treasure trove full of information on upcoming features, reasoning behind development decisions, and thoughtful commentary from Blizzard. With so many interviews happening at once, though, things get overwhelming — so we're summarizing Diablo 4 interviews that occurred during the convention for those that might not have time to watch them in full. - Diablo 4 features a continuous landmass which made it very natural to go to Nahantu next
- Blizzard knows what class archetype is missing in Diablo 4 and wanted to tie it to the theme of the region in Vessel of Hatred. The new class for the expansion will be revealed in 2024
- The Druid's wolves are modeled off of Tiffany Wat's Husky which has also been used for animation reference. They have also recorded the Husky's sounds which have not been used ingame for the wolves itself but for some of the monsters
- Even though Vessel of Hatred is releasing in Late 2024, Blizzard has not settled on future expansion releases being annual or not
- Tiffany Wat mentioned that she loves pets in Diablo 3 but also in Torchlight as they carry items for the character
- When being asked about raids in Diablo 4, Wat replied that the World Bosses are fun because you get to partner with other people and she hopes that they can
