A pitch video for a Lego James Bond video game has been leaked.
The video, as made available on the Lego Gaming Reddit page (and spotted by Eurogamer) is a 47-second trailer made by TT Games staff, showing scenes from the Bond movies recreated in Lego.
Because the video was only a pitch designed to gauge interest, the footage is basic and missing a lot of detail, but is still unmistakeably in the style of the other Lego games made by TT Games.
Some commenters speculated that the video may have been created for toys-to-life multiverse title Lego Dimensions, because it’s long been believed that James Bond was one of the IPs set to feature in that game before being replaced by Mission Impossible.
However, the source of the leak went on to claim that this wasn’t the case, and that it was in fact a pitch for a standalone Lego James Bond game.

“This wasn’t actually for Lego Dimensions Year 3, it was produced as a pitch for The Lego Group group to convince them to give the okay for a full game,” they wrote.
“It was made during the last year Dimensions was being worked on, when TT knew Dimensions wouldn’t get a third year of content.
“The Lego Group decided Bond wasn’t suitable, and vetoed the project. I think this has been found in the data of a Dimensions build, which is where the confusion is coming from.”
