'Tis the season to be Jeff the Land Shark in , as Jeff's Winter Splash Festival has officially begun. Jeff has made waves since the game launched earlier this month, being deemed one of the cutest and most meme-worthy Hero within the title. While some players can't get enough of the sweet and cuddly shark with feet, others feel his ultimate might be a bit broken.

The Winter Celebration event went live earlier this morning, and with it comes a plethora of free rewards, paid costumes, and more. Jeff the Land Shark is the center of attention during the entirety of this event,as a limited-time 4v4 game mode brings the bubble-blowing apex predator to the forefront in a very different way than most players expected.

While the Winter Celebration has just begun, the hype around the event is already there. The trailer for the event surfaced three days ago, showcasing the new costumes and Jeff in all of his bubble-blasting glory. The event is a bit shocking, as the 4v4 mode is really only a Jeff versus Jeff mode. Players will be sent to the same map, YGGSGARD: Royal Palace, and will duke it out by spraying ice all over the map to decorate it.
