Over four months since its launch, Saber Interactive’s Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has passed six million players. Its last milestone was over five million by the end of November.
The third-person shooter is in the middle of Season 2. It’s received two new PvE Operations, PS5 Pro support (with DLSS 3 and FSR 3 support), and cosmetics. There was backlash for balance changes and Lethal difficulty, but Saber would revert many of those and implement numerous buffs.
Season 3 is next with a new PvP map and custom lobbies where players can select the same class in Patch 7.0. Prestige Ranks, additional enemy types, The Salamander as a new Champion, and another difficulty level are also due. Then there’s the Datavault detailing various game aspects and the eventual Horde Mode.
