Marvel has confirmed that no AI was used in the creation of a new poster.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in United States theaters in July 2025. The ensemble MCU film stars Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/Thing.
Along with the first trailer for the Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel has also released a new batch of posters for the movie, which can be viewed below:
Social media members were quick to question whether or not AI was used to create these posters; more specifically, the poster that features a swarm of Fantastic Four fans holding signs and flags was suspected of utilizing AI.
Speaking with TheWrap, a spokesperson for Marvel set the record straight and confirmed that “AI was not used in the creation of these posters.”
The synopsis for The Fantastic Four: First Steps reads, “Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Kirby), Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Quinn), and Ben Grimm/The Thing (Moss-Bachrach) — as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god called Galactus (Ralph Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, it suddenly gets very personal.”
The Fantastic Four: First Steps will be released in United States theaters on July 25, 2025, as part of Phase Six of the MCU.
