Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was already a looker when it launched exclusively on PS5 in October 2023, receiving a face-melting upgrade on PS5 Pro a year later. Now, after 11 million copies sold, it's reaching the final phase of its commercial life-cycle; Insomniac's hugely successful game is releasing on PC today, 30th January, where it has achieved its ultimate graphical evolution, boasting all kinds of fancy extra bells and whistles.
In a new trailer, Sony showcases the features new PC players or those willing to double-dip can enjoy: upscaling and frame generation, improved raytracing, and official DualSense and ultrawide monitor support. Insomniac collaborated on the project with PlayStation's in-house PC port experts, the Netherlands-based Nixxes Software.
