Upcoming PS5 RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is looking very promising indeed, and we're not the only ones who think so. The game has garnered enough fans that it's already run out of its collector's edition.
In a statement on social media, the game's official account has outlined the situation:
«Never could we have imagined that we'd have sold out of our collectors editions so early, nor did we know the demand for our physical editions would be so high,» it reads.
Basically, the game is already so popular that fans can no longer purchase the collector's edition, and it looks like restocking isn't a guarantee.
«Truthfully, getting these made was a monumental feat for us. We are so grateful to see that the demand was there, and that it exceeded our expectations,» the statement says. «Though we will try our best to explore the options of restocking, we cannot promise it yet and we hope you understand the limitations with this.»
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a fantasy RPG inspired by Final Fantasy and Persona, featuring deep, stylish, turn-based combat. It was last shown off during Xbox's recent Developer Direct, where it was revealed the game will launch on PS5 this April.

Well an RPG with classic turn based combat, nice graphics and interesting looking chars, understandable that the demand is high (these days classic turn based combat is mostly a rarity would say). I am also looking very forward for this release.
Good for them!
