A big Capcom Spotlight livestream followed immediately by a Monster Hunter Wilds Showcase should get PS5 fans in the mood for 2025.
The broadcast, scheduled for 2PM PT on 4th February, will run around 35 minutes in its entirety, and promises back-to-back Capcom goodness.
Here’s when you can expect to the episode to air in your time zone:
The first half of the presentation will focus on upcoming Capcom titles like Onimusha: Way of the Sword and Capcom Fighting Collection 2, while the latter part will centre exclusively on Monster Hunter Wilds. A second open beta test is scheduled to get underway from 13th February.
As we move into February, publishers are slowly starting to shake off the post-holiday dust and focus on what they have planned for the year ahead. We can’t wait to see what Capcom has in store for us.
As the Editor of Push Square, Sammy has over 15 years of experience analysing the world of PlayStation, from PS3 through PS5 and everything in between. He’s an expert on PS Studios and industry matters, as well as sports games and simulators. He also enjoys RPGs when he has the time to dedicate to them, and is a bit of a gacha whale.
Never played an Onimusha title, but it looks so good
@Nepp67 I played the first 3 and loved each of them, they’re great games.
I was hoping we’d get DD2 DLC but I guess not
@timbo87 dd2 is fantastic and deserves waaaay more love
Be nice to see a Dino crisis remake shadow reveal.
@Kidfunkadelic83 Thats what I want, but there's no mention of anything new getting announced, so don't hold your breath.
Capcom Should Bring back Mega Man and Lost Planet.
Just a quick heads up but the 2nd open beta actually gets under way on the 6th of febuary (7th in the uk)
@timbo87 I hope DD2 gets DLC because as much as I enjoyed my time with it I was also really disappointed with it
Can't wait to see Onimusha gameplay but the wait makes me wants to replay Onimusha 1 remaster. I really hope we get Onimusha 2, 3, and Dawn of Dream remaster.
