Well-regarded 1991 board game-style RPG Sugoro Quest: Dice Heroes will make its Western debut on 7th February for PS5 and PS4.
Originally released on the Famicom in Japan, this turn-based affair sees you navigating different boards by rolling dice. Along the way, you’ll encounter various enemies who you need to defeat by once again trying your luck.
There are four different characters to choose from at the start of each adventure, each bringing their own unique abilities and skills. You’ll also find unique paths through the levels and various encounters along the way.
We’ve embedded a YouTube playthrough to give you a better taste below:
Developed by Technos Japan, the title has received various fan translations over the years, but this will mark the first time it’ll be officially available in English.
As part of the port, you can expect a handful of quality-of-life improvements, including cheats, save states, and screen filters.
Will you be trying out this interesting RPG? The game will retail for $5.99 on the PS Store, so a nice little curio for a little more than the price of a coffee.
