If you have a fear of confined and tight spaces, this may not be the next PSVR2 purchase you want to make — or maybe it is so you can work towards curing your claustrophobia. Newly announced for Sony's VR device, Cave Crave sees you don the headset and explore absurdly tight tunnels and caves. The PSVR2 title is out this Spring, and you can catch the reveal trailer above.
The PS Store listing sets the scene: «Step into the underground world of caves in the most realistic VR spelunking game, where the entire environment is your map, just waiting to be discovered!» You can draw on the cave walls with chalk to mark clues, overcome environmental challenges like water and blocked tunnels, scale walls and even ceilings with ice axes. The game costs £6 / $13 on Meta Quest, so expect a similar price for the PSVR2 version.
In case it drew comparisons to The Descent movie series, developer 3R Games states «there are no cheap horror tricks» waiting inside the tunnels. There's «just a mysterious and immersive cave atmosphere». Will you give Cave Crave a go on PSVR2? Overcome your fear in the comments below.
Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he's found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.

@MrPeanutbutterz I had to check it out and that was just nightmarish.

Can’t wait I’ll buy it day one!
This looks like the definitive John Jones experience… no thanks. I prefer zombies and stuff like that instead of being in a small cave.
@Perturbator Yyyuuuppp. Actually had trouble sleeping the night I read about it. Ended up putting a dim light on in the room, and leaving my weighted blanket off.
