The first full look at Marvel’s first family has been unveiled in the brand-new teaser trailer for, but many fans seem disappointed with the Thing’s voice in the trailer.
Directed by Matt Shakman, The Fantastic Four: First Steps will hit theaters across the globe on July 25, 2025. Starring a talented cast of stars, this Marvel Studios production features Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Susan Storm, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Thing and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm.

While fans seemed impressed with the teaser trailer overall, many conveyed their disappointment with the Thing’s voice.
Popular scooper My Time To Shine Hello shared snaps of Bachrach’s The Thing from the teaser on X (formerly Twitter) and asked, “What do you think about The Thing’s design?” In reply, a user replied that they liked the design but “the animation is weird tho,” and added, “also wished the voice was deeper.”
