NetEase has announced the EOS of their horror action game Dead by Daylight Mobile. Yes, the game is officially heading for the grave! Puns aside, the game is shutting down after 4 years of its worldwide release on Android.
If you never played the game, it’s a 4v1 horror-survival which is a mobile adaptation of Behaviour Interactive’s hit Dead by Daylight. The game was first released for PC in June 2016 while it was dropped on mobile in April 2020. The PC and console versions will continue to run smoothly.
Dead by Daylight Mobile lets you play as a Killer or a Survivor in a deadly game of hide and seek. You can play as a Killer and sacrifice Survivors to The Entity. Or you can be a Survivor and try to be safe and not get killed by the Killer.
The Dead by Daylight Mobile EOS is on March 20th, 2025. And until January 16th, 2025, the game will be available on the app stores, but after that, you won’t be able to download the game.
If you already have the game installed, you can keep playing until March 20th. Also, if you’re wondering about refunds, NetEase is handling them according to each region’s laws. More info on the refund process will be dropped on January 16th, 2025.
If you still wish to continue playing the game, you can switch to the PC or console version. There’s a Welcome Package for you, in case you make the jump. If you’ve spent cash or racked up XP in the mobile game, you’ll get loyalty rewards when you make the switch
