Marvel Rivals Reveals the Fantastic Four, Trailer Date Set
NetEase Games formally revealed the is coming to. Now, players are getting a first look at Marvel‘s first family, a date for the team’s trailer, and a potential tease for a future hero.
A new post on X from the Marvel Rivals account shows art of Mr. Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing. As expected, they are sporting the typical Fantastic Four blue and white colored garb. Alongside them is their robotic teammate HERBIE. The team is flying around New York City in the Fantasticar. Not much else is shown in the image, but it does confirm the full team will make it into the game. It also reveals the trailer for the next batch of characters will release on January 6, 2025, at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT.

The Fantastic Four’s arrival is not much of a surprise thanks to previous Marvel Rivals leaks. However, HERBIE was not part of that leak, which may suggest they are not a playable character. It is possible that the robot companion could be part of one of the team’s move sets, but we won’t really know until the trailer drops. Additionally, this also seems to confirm the next map will be New York City.
Another interesting tidbit about this image is that it may be teasing another future Marvel Rivals hero. The red moon and bat swarm in the background may be hinting that Blade could be added to the roster. That is mostly speculation, but the vampire hunter was part of the aforementioned leak, lending some credit to the notion.
