Feral Interactive has opened the pre-registration of Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light on mobile. A premium title priced at $9.99, it’s set to land on Android on February 27th. The game was first released in the US and the UK in 2010.
Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light will see the protagonist bringing her twin pistols and puzzle-solving prowess. You’ll swing, shoot and strategize your way through an action-packed isometric adventure in the heart of a dangerous Mexican jungle.
The place has ancient temples filled with devious traps, undead enemies that just won’t quit and a literal god of death, Xolotl. With classic Tomb Raider chaos, Guardian of Light sticks to its roots with plenty of puzzle-solving, platforming and gunfights.
What makes Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light different from its previous games in the Tomb Raider series is that this one will have all from an isometric perspective. The other games had a virtual camera viewpoint.
Also, this new game will be more of a non-linear arcade-style action game and not simply an adventure action game. Curious to see what it looks like? Feral Interactive has released a new trailer, why don’t you take a peek at it right below?
If you are a fan of Lara Croft, you can pre-register for the game on the Google Play Store. By the way, you can play it solo or play co-op with a friend both locally and online. The game also comes with fully customizable touchscreen controls. Or you can just connect a gamepad and go full console mode.
So, get ready to swing across deadly chasms on February 27th. In the meantime, read our next scoop on Cat Solitaire, a New Card Game from the Makers of Cat Punch.
