Netflix’s New Game Carmen Sandiego Brings the Iconic Thief as a Detective

Carmen Sandiego is back, but this time, she’s not outsmarting detectives. Instead, SHE is the detective. Gameloft and HarperCollins Productions have developed a game that brings the legendary red-coated super thief. It’s a Netflix exclusive, by the way.

In Netflix’s new game, you actually step into Carmen’s shoes for the first time ever. It’s a globe-hopping adventure filled with high-tech gadgets, daring heists and a showdown with VILE’s most elusive criminals.

Carmen, once the elusive villain, is now the one tracking down thieves and protecting the world’s greatest treasures. VILE is back at it again, pulling off high-profile heists. So, you as Carmen, follow the clues, chase them across the globe and bring them to justice.

Expect classic detective work and high-tech action. You’ll gather intel, crack safes and hack security systems in minigames. The game has stunning recreations of real-world locations like Rio de Janeiro and Singapore.

Carmen also has an arsenal of spy gear at her disposal, including a grappling hook, night vision goggles and a glider for the dramatic rooftop escapes.

Carmen isn’t working alone in this game. She has her hacker ally, Player, who feeds intel remotely to help track down VILE’s top agents, including Paper Star from the Netflix animated series.

If you have, you can grab the game for free. It’s a premium, single-player puzzle adventure with no in-game purchases. The game is also set to make its way later to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and Steam.
