Soul Tide is reaching the end of its journey. Developer IQI Games and publisher by LemcnSun Entertainment have announced the EOS of Soul Tide. It’s been 2 years and 10 months since the global version of the game landed on mobile.
The game is officially shutting down on February 28th, 2025. Starting now, you won’t be able to download it from the Play Store. You also cannot make any in-game purchases.
If you still have resources left, now’s the time to use them because once it shuts down, all game data will be wiped forever.
But before the EOS, Soul Tide is dropping a final content update. So at least the last month will have something special for long-time players. The devs will reveal the details about it soon. You can stay updated by following their official X account.
Soul Tide is a dungeon crawler with turn-based combat. An original title that combines anime girl collection, home simulation and dungeon exploration, it first launched in Japan in 2021.
It’s set in a fantasy world where witches kindled doom upon the land. It also has dating sim and roguelite elements.
Looking back, the game actually received pretty great reviews in its initial phase. Players loved its gameplay and storybook-inspired visuals.
Unlike a lot of gacha games where characters just exist to fill a role, the girls in Soul Tide actually had depth.
However, over time, it got buried under rough gacha rates, a clunky UI and a translation that didn’t always hit the mark.
You can check out the game on the Google Play Store, in case you still have some resources lying around.
