While exploring the map of , players may quickly realize that a large portion remains underwater and is only accessible through diving. Unfortunately, at the start of the game, you will be unable to even swim, let alone dive to find Hangyodon. Thankfully, it's not too difficult to reach these underwater regions, as long as you put the time in.
For both swimming and diving, the right tools must first be unlocked. For swimming this includes flippers, and for diving this includes a snorkel mask. Unfortunately, both of these items are acquired separately and from two different residents in who are in an area initially blocked off to players: the Spooky Swamp.
As stated, to unlock swimming, players will first need to obtain a pair of flippers, which can be a little tedious. While Keroppi gives you the crafting plan for them relatively quickly upon meeting, simply getting to Keroppi is the hardest part. This is largely because both Keroppi and Kuromi reside in the eastern portion of the map, Spooky Swamp, where players are unable to go until they have opened the gate near Chococat’s crafting bench.
Since launching last July, Hello Kitty Island Adventure has grown immensely, but the adventure simulation game has a lot more in the works for fans.
To do this, players will need to work with Chococat to complete the Power Up The Gate quest, which involves tracking down three yellow Power Crystals by solving puzzles around the main part of the resort. The quest is unlocked almost immediately upon befriending Chococat, and he provides a tool to find the Power Crystals quickly, so it shouldn't take too long to finish. Once that is complete and the gate is open, head on through and find Keroppi towards the southern end of the Spooky Swamp.
If you know how to use the gliding balloons efficiently, you may be able to wiggle your way over the broken bridge once the gate is open and save yourself some walking, but if not, just go around the long way.
