was just released on PC yesterday, and the Steam reviews rolling in are less than favorable. The title was released on PlayStation 5 back in October 2023 and fans seemed to love the web-slinging, action-packed game. Since its recent release on PC, however, the reviews are extremely mixed with the majority leaning more toward negative than positive.
According to the Steam page for, the issues seem vast, as players are experiencing crashes and some can't even play the game at this time due to latency and audio issues. One Steam user who goes by the name Lumi Kløvstad states,
«To say this is „rough“ is an understatement. Lighting doesn't load in some cutscenes, those same scenes run at seconds-per-frame, audio desync issues up the wazoo, freezing, stuttering, and just about every other performance issue I can think of. I'm gonna get a refund for now because frankly, there's other stuff I could use $70 for right now.»
Though a few major issues have been reported,the main concern is crashing repeatedly, even for those who have PCs that are up for the task. Among the crashes come other issues, such as audio desyncing, cutscenes not loading characters properly, and textures missing entirely from the game itself. User Neodemio on Steam writes,

The developers at both Insomniac Games and Nixxes Software are aware of the issues at this time and have been referring players to the troubleshooting section of their website. The devs have also shared an update via Steam that brought a hotfix for the crashes.Currently, the hotfix is only for those experiencing crashes due to enabling ray-tracing, but they are working on a fix for all crashes and «intend to get these first fixes out as soon as possible.»
