In a YouTube Short, Gonz's theories on burglars seem to suggest that the Motherlode season will revolve around money and crimes in general, and players may even be able to control the thieves as they rob other Sims' homes.
The latest community speculation on the new content expansion for may mark the return of the burglars, which haven't been seen in the game since 2009's, despite featuring in every other mainline iteration of the series.
