A few more-than-minor announcements have dropped as Pax Dei’s team moves into the holiday and new year, including new platform releases and a tease of an upcoming new feature.
First, we’re shown a bit more about the already-announced Grace feature that give “miracles and blessings” to players. There aren’t any major details in the post itself, but new screenshots give somewhat of a hint for now. We see “General,” “Crafting” and “Gathering” tabs, and under each of the ones we’re shown, there are icons corresponding with different in-game activities such as growing, wood-gathering, distilling, and cooking—perhaps these give bonuses to these activities as they go along.
Come 2025, there’ll be more download options for players that aren’t exactly Steam fans. The game will come to Epic Games Store early next year, as well as to the cloud gaming platform Geforce Now. No word on if cross-saving will be available as part of the package.
Speaking of platforms, the team shared that Pax Dei will see a discount once again for Steam’s upcoming Winter Sale (which, per the dates and usual Steam sale times, should be live when this article does). The Journeyman’s Founder Pack, which is the primary Early Access mode, will be on sale for a whopping 35% off, leaving it at $25.99, with all DLC being 20% off as well.
Pax Dei certainly has a lot to celebrate this end of year, with its Early Access launch and steady stream of updates and additions, including its recent implementation of game-wide currency. Plus, as the game’s population fluxes, the team is working to keep it tidy for current players by going through another wipe of inactive plots.
