A dedicated player of The Sims 4 has created a highly detailed house for others to enjoy. Maxis’ simulation franchise has been going strong since the first game was released back in 2000, and 2014’s The Sims 4 was no different, proving to be a massive hit for fans. The game alone has received over 15 DLC packs to date, with the most recent content launching in 2023.
With The Sims 4 approaching a decade of availability, fans have mastered the rich creation tools found within the game to create and share unique characters and buildings. Over the years, the dedicated community has shared many breathtaking creations, and has even used mods to incorporate characters like Diablo 4’s Lilith into The Sims 4. Now, one fan has used their skill to craft a cozy creation that has been shared for all to see.
A player going by the username of alexia_art over on Reddit, has posted an incredibly detailed house built entirely in The Sims 4. The picturesque abode comes complete with signs that hang from the exterior walls, a quaint bicycle resting outside the front door, and a myriad of plants that give a lived-in feeling. The two-story building has been created fully using The Sims 4’s proprietary SmartSim engine.
Understandably, the cozy structure has drawn a lot of attention from fans, with over 4k upvotes at the time of writing and many comments praising the design of the building. In a subsequent post, alexia_art confirmed that due to the proximity of many items, the structure is only for aesthetic purposes and cannot be inhabited by any Sims. While that might disappoint some players, the cozy house has still been added to The Sims 4 gallery for folks to download to their game and enjoy.
