Ubisoft has just released Invincible: Guarding the Globe, a free-to-play mobile game for Android and IOS devices. Set in the world of Robert Kirkman’s Invinciblecomic series, the idle squad RPG is available to download now.
Based on the comics by the creator of The Walking Dead, the genre-defying superhero series Invincible shot into the spotlight when the animated series premiered on Amazon Prime in 2021. Simmons. Skybound Games’ recent Invincible Presents: Atom Eve also treated gamers to a stunning visual novel adventure about the beloved character. However,Invincible: Guarding the Globe is the first game to let fans unleash the full roster of Kirkman's heroes.
The new game sees players join the Global Defence Agency (GDA) to muster a super-team comprising Invincible, Atom Eve, Dupli-Kate, and other familiar members of the Guardians of the Globe, each with their own powers and stats. Gamers must carefully choose their squad and strategy, upgrading and customizing their equipment to ensure victory in fast-paced battles.
The free-to-play idle squad RPG allows players to take either an active role in battles, by using their heroes' special moves and powers, or to sit back and watch their super-team annihilate hordes of helpless Flaxans, Magmanites, and Invincible's other fearsome enemies from across the galaxy. Players can even fight multiple battles at once using a unique multi-battle system, letting them accumulate more rewards simultaneously. The game has plenty of options to please micromanagers and more relaxed players alike.
