Valiant Hearts: Coming Home has just shadow dropped across consoles and PC. Valiant Hearts: Coming Home is the sequel to Ubisoft’s award-winning puzzle adventure game Valiant Hearts: The Great War. While Coming Home received generally favorable reviews, the title went under the radar of many gamers due to its exclusivity to mobile devices at the time of its initial release. However, with its availability on mainstream platforms, Coming Home now has the potential to reach a much wider audience.
Previously released in February 2023 as a Netflix Games exclusive, Coming Home expands on the narrative of its predecessor and once again follows the story of four unsung war heroes, featuring a mix of both familiar faces and new characters. Sporting distinctive graphic novel-style visuals and simple but thought-provoking gameplay, Coming Home will pull away at players' heartstrings and showcase some of the most important battles of World War 1 at the same time.
Valiant Hearts: Coming Home can now be played on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC and Nintendo Switch. Valiant Hearts: The Collection, a bundle that contains both titles in the series can also be purchased by those who are looking to experience everything the WW1 games have to offer. Valiant Hearts: Coming Home can be purchased for $14.99, while The Collection is available for $24.99.
Ubisoft also posted a short launch trailer for the title featuring gameplay snippets of the legendary US WW1 regiment, the Harlem Hellfighters, who are heroically portrayed in Valiant Hearts: Coming Home. The African American infantry unit had a significant role in raising morale among the troops and also contributed to the development of jazz as a musical genre. The Harlem Hellfighters were also known for their commitment to fighting back against the discrimination of African American soldiers in the army.
