Marvel Games Announces Next Game, Marvel 1943: The Rise of Hydra
The Marvel game we all remember bring developed that featured Captain America and Black Panther has finally come to light. Marvel Games has officially announced their latest game coming out in 2025 called, Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra. This game is being developed by a brand new studio called Skydance New Media, this studio is led among others but also Amy Hennig which was a formerly at EA and Naughty Dog.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will be a action-adventure game that will only focus on a key few characters which are: Captain America, T’Challa’s grandfather Azzuri and the Black Panther from the World War II, US Soldier Gabriel Jones, and Wakandan spy Nanali.
Below are some statements from SKydance New Media where they discussed a bit more of what to expect from this upcoming Marvel title.
“In the chaos of war, worlds collide. Captain America and Azzuri, the Black Panther of the 1940s, must overcome their differences and form an uneasy alliance to confront their common enemy,” Skydance New Media said. “Fighting alongside Gabriel Jones of the Howling Commandos, and Nanali, a Wakandan spy embedded in Occupied Paris, they must join forces to stop a sinister plot that threatens to turn the havoc of WWII into the ultimate rise of Hydra.”
With all this information, there was also a full story trailer that was released today as well. So far there haven’t been any confirmation for what consoles and platforms this game will come to. Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is set to release in 2025.
