Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto Online players who are subscribed to the GTA+ subscription service will soon be eligible to receive an extra $1 million in-game monthly, from April through August. Grand Theft Auto Online already features a bunch of ways to make money, but this GTA+ perk will make things a little easier over the next few months.
GTA+ first launched in March 2022, and in the years since, it has become a great way for players to get extra value from their Rockstar titles. The service offers a ton of additional benefits in Grand Theft Auto Online, and gives players access to a bunch of titles in the Rockstar Games library. Just recently, Rockstar added Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare to GTA+, further expanding the number of games available to players. At $5.99 a month, the subscription service is offering great value for money at the moment.
On Twitter, Rockstar Games confirmed that an extra $1 million of in-game cash will be deposited to GTA+ subscribers' Grand Theft Auto Online accounts each month between April and August, for a neat $5 million in bonus money. Players subscribed to GTA+ don't have to log in to claim their bonus cash, either — this will be deposited into Maze Bank accounts automatically. It will also come alongside the usual $500,000 of in-game money received for being a GTA+ member, for a monthly total of $1.5 million. This definitely makes being a GTA+ subscriber one of the best ways to make money in Grand Theft Auto Online, at least for the next few months.
Rockstar has been offering various ways for players to earn more money in-game of late. Recently, some players were able to complete a survey that gave free GTA Online money, as well as the latest additions to GTA+. With Grand Theft Auto 6 on the way, it isn't clear right now how much money in GTA Online will carry over to the multiplayer aspect of the upcoming sequel.
