A Fallout 4 player has built a unique fortune-teller hut for notorious settler Mama Murphy. Settlement building has been a prominent feature of Fallout 4 since its release, and this player has thought of a unique tribute to Mama Murphy.
Fallout 4 has seen a resurgence of players since the release of Amazon's Fallout TV series, and many players are experiencing the Boston Commonwealth for the first time. After collecting enough resources, players can start establishing settlements. The first settlement that gamers will discover is Sanctuary, and it's the post-apocalyptic version of the town that the protagonist lived in before the bombs dropped. Other popular settlement locations include The Castle, Starlight Drive-In, and The Slog. One player has decided to use the settlement-building tools to make Mama Murphy unique lodgings in Sanctuary.
Reddit user CMDRCrandall recently shared an image of their fortune-teller's hut dedicated to Mama Murphy. The building is mostly composed of Wood which is a fairly common Fallout 4 Settlement resource. Players can acquire Wood by scrapping Pallets, Trees, and many Junk items. Other resources required for this build include Cloth, Glass, Oil, Steel, and necessary Generator materials. An adjacent Street Light connects electricity from a Generator to the small building with an attached wire, powering a sign on the front. Despite having electricity, Mama Murphy's hut is illuminated by a candle on a desk in front of her chair.
Once players rescue Mama Murphy from Concord and give her a Jet, she will request that they make her a custom chair. After she has her chair, she will reward gamers with her fortune-telling abilities. The chair plays a key role in this build because the NPC rarely wanders away from it. Neon signs from the Wall Decorations section indicate that Mama Murphy is a «Seer Extraordinaire,» and she has a Cooler on her desk for players to offer her Fallout 4 Chems.
