The cast of the upcoming fourth movie is growing, with four new cast members having signed on to the project.
According to Variety, Isla Fisher (Wedding Crashers), Nico Parker (How to Train Your Dragon), Josette Simon (Anatomy of a Scandal), and Leila Farzad (Black Mirror) have all joined the cast of Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy.
Their roles in the upcoming movie are unknown as of yet, but they’ll join a cast that’s set to include returning stars , , and .
The Bridget Jones franchise has been a smash-hit since its inception. Entries include 2001’s Bridget Jones’s Diary, 2004’s Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, and 2016’s Bridget Jones’s Baby.
The film trilogy has starred Renée Zellweger as the titular Bridget Jones in all three iterations, with Hugh Grant appearing as Daniel Cleaver in the first two films. In total, the Bridget Jones film franchise has earned more than $760 million at the worldwide box office, with 2016’s Bridget Jones’s Baby earning more than $200 million worldwide.
