In addition to outlining global release and pre-load timings for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, FromSoftware has also confirmed a day-one patch. It will also apply to the base game, with server maintenance scheduled from midnight to 3 AM PST on June 20th.
Some of the patch’s new features include a Recent Items tab to check items you’ve recently picked up. You can also check newly acquired items by the exclamation point on their icons. Active Summoning Pools will also carry over to New Game Plus, and players can switch individual pools on or off in the Map Functions menu (with the Small Golden Effigy only selecting active pools).
Five new hairstyles will also be available during character creation, the Clouded Mirror Stand or when respeccing one’s character at Rennala. The patch includes other features, so stay tuned for more details in the coming days.
Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree launches on June 21st for Xbox One, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. An event with Red Bull is set for tomorrow, so stay tuned for more details.
